Prior to joining Havencrest as an Operating Partner, Karl A. Zachar served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Innovive Health, New England’s largest behavioral health home care agency.

Previously, Mr. Zachar served as a senior leader at athenahealth (NASDAQ: ATHN) as Vice President of Product Strategy and Corporate Development. At athenahealth, he was responsible for overseeing all strategic partnerships, corporate investments and the company’s overall growth strategy, and during Mr. Zachar’s tenure, the company’s ARR grew 10x to $1.2B.

As an investor and advisor to private healthcare software and services companies, including Andgo Systems, an intelligent workflow management software company focused on automating the manual process of clinical staff scheduling where he serves as Chief Revenue Officer, and SonderMind, a leading behavioral health company, Mr. Zachar has passionately devoted himself to modernize the healthcare system by creatively applying software, data, and innovation.

Mr. Zachar’s main areas of interests are digital health, tech-enabled services, diagnostics and healthcare informatics.

Mr. Zachar earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and he graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a B.A. in Economics.
