Before joining Apara Autism Centers as Chief Executive Officer, Tyler P. Moore served as Senior Vice President of Behavioral Operations at Optum, a UnitedHealth Group company (NYSE: UNH). During his 20 years at Optum, Mr. Moore held a myriad of senior roles focusing on operations, healthcare delivery strategies, network development, quality management and process improvement.

Prior to joining Optum, Mr. Moore served five years in the United States Navy as a combat medic with the 1st Marine Division and later as a fleet hospital corpsman on the USNS Mercy (T-AH-19).

Mr. Moore earned his B.A. in Humanities from Excelsior College, and he also earned his M.B.A. from National University while serving in the U.S. military.
