Havencrest Announces Additional Operating Partners

Havencrest Capital Management, a Dallas-based, healthcare-focused private equity firm, is pleased to announce the addition of three Operating Partners — including some of the country’s leading healthcare entrepreneurs and corporate executives — to complement its investment team of Christopher W. Kersey, Matthew D. Shofner, M. Jett Aubrey, Kyle D. Seco, Thomas D. Ruane, Matthew A. Cline and Ian D. Anderson.

Havencrest is honored to add the following Operating Partners

Operating Partner Walter J. (Walt) Humann most recently served as President and CEO of OsteoMed, L.L.C., a leading surgical device manufacturer, a tenure culminating in a successful exit for the Pritzker family of investors to a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK). Previously, Mr. Humann served as CFO of RealPage, Inc. (NASDAQ: RP), the global leader in real estate property management software and services.

Operating Partner Nitin K. Jain currently serves as President of Payer Solutions and Value Based Care at U.S. Renal Care, one of the country’s largest dialysis service companies. Prior to U.S. Renal Care, Mr. Jain served as Chief Operating Officer of Specialized Markets at Centene Corporation (NASDAQ: CNC).

Operating Partner Karl A. Zachar most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Innovive Health, New England’s largest behavioral health home care agency. Previously, Mr. Zachar served as a senior leader at athenahealth (NASDAQ: ATHN) as Vice President of Product Strategy and Corporate Development, where he was responsible for overseeing all strategic partnerships and corporate investments as well as the company’s overall growth strategy.
