Havencrest Announces One New Platform Investment and Two Tuck-In Acquisitions
Havencrest Capital Management, a Dallas-based, healthcare-focused private equity firm, is pleased to announce its new platform investment in Focus Staff Services as well as two tuck-in acquisitions for its Avid Health at Home platform: Well Care Home Care and Independence-4-Seniors.

Focus Staff Services
Dallas-based Focus Staff Services (“Focus”) is a leading provider of temporary workforce solutions in the healthcare marketplace. Founded in 2009, Focus provides nursing and allied staffing services in all 50 states to many of the country’s leading integrated delivery networks, acute care hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
The company was recognized earlier this year as one of the top five nurse staffing companies in the United States by BluePipes, a professional networking platform dedicated to the healthcare industry.
Founder Kyle Rhodes serves as the CEO of the Focus platform.
Since completing the majority recapitalization of Focus, Havencrest has added two staffing industry stalwarts to the company’s board of advisors: Steven Francis, Founder, Former CEO and Chairman of AMN Healthcare Services (NYSE: AMN), the largest publicly-traded healthcare staffing company in the United States, and Kay Cowling, Former CEO of Fastaff, the 7th largest healthcare staffing company in the United States.

Well Care Home Care (Avid Health at Home)
North Carolina-based Well Care Home Care (“WCHC”) represents the second tuck-in acquisition for Havencrest’s home care platform, Avid Health at Home.
As one of the leading providers of patient-centric home care in North Carolina, WCHC has offices in 5 cities and 23 counties and is led by a team of talented professionals. A home care divestiture from its parent company Well Care Health, WCHC will serve as Avid’s flagship operation in the North Carolina market as Avid looks to expand further in the Southeastern United States.

Independence-4-Seniors (Avid Health at Home)
Chicago-based Independence-4-Seniors (“I4S”) represents the third tuck-in acquisition for Havencrest’s home care platform, Avid Health at Home.
As a high-quality provider of personalized home care for older adults in DuPage County and Western Cook County since 2002, I4S will further increase Avid’s footprint in the Chicagoland market as Avid continues to expand throughout the Midwest.
