Michael A. Ross, M.D. is a serial CEO and physician leader with over 35 years of executive experience in leading private healthcare and life science companies.
Dr. Ross most recently served as Chairman and CEO of Euclid Systems, a corrective contact lens manufacturer, where he established the company as a global leader in myopia treatment and led the company to a successful exit to private equity in 2019.
Prior to Euclid Systems, Dr. Ross served as the President of CPL Inc., the North American division of Cadila Pharmaceutical Ltd., where he oversaw all aspects of North American operations and spearheaded the development of new products and an array of innovative joint ventures.
Before his successful operating career, Dr. Ross, who is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, served as a clinical physician in the Washington D.C. area. A member of the INOVA Health System Executive Committee from 2003 – 2007 and a member of the board of directors of the Generic Pharmaceutical Association, Dr. Ross served on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Committee for Prevention of Breast and Cervical Cancer as a presidential appointee.
A Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University and a Professor of OB-GYN at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Ross serves on the boards of multiple private healthcare companies.
Dr. Ross received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Dickinson University and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from George Washington University.
