Timothy P. Schier is a former Managing Director of Cain Brothers, where he spent his entire 25-year career in healthcare investment banking and real estate. At Cain Brothers, Mr. Schier advised health systems, physician groups, developers, entrepreneurs, and investors on a wide variety of financing transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and real estate sales.

Mr. Schier has advised on over $10 billion of healthcare mergers and acquisition transactions and seven million square feet of healthcare real estate.

Mr. Schier has been published or quoted in Medical Economics, Healthcare Financial Management, Modern Healthcare, Health Care Real Estate Insights, Modern Physician and other leading publications on physician and hospital financing issues and healthcare real estate.

Mr. Schier earned a B.A. in Economics and Managerial Studies and an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Rice University.
