Michael D. Nelson serves as an Analyst of Havencrest Capital Management.

Prior to joining Havencrest, Mr. Nelson served as a Goalkeeper for Houston Dynamo FC of Major League Soccer (MLS).  Mr. Nelson was a member of the U.S. Open Cup Championship-winning team during his rookie season. Prior to joining Houston Dynamo FC, Mr. Nelson served as a Summer Analyst at JPMorganChase in its corporate banking group in Houston, TX.

Mr. Nelson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.  A walk-on member of the men’s soccer program, Mr. Nelson became a team captain, 1st team All-American and 1st round selection in the Major League Soccer (MLS) draft.
